IIMAK Improves In-line Packaging Ink Offer

IIMAK introduces new NETFlex in-line packaging ribbon.

Geel, Belgium – August 11, 2009 – IIMAK, a leading international manufacturer of thermal transfer ribbons, has announced the release of NetFlex for near edge printers and coders.  NetFlex is an addition to IIMAK’s robust in-line packaging offering that includes NetMark IQ, NetResin IQ and NetColours.

NetFlex, used primarily for date, price, lot, and bar coding, is a wax-resin ribbon with an improved anti-static formulation that enables blacker, bolder prints with excellent durability.  With print speeds up to 600mm/sec (24 ips), NetFlex is compatible with near edge printers and coders used for in-line applications in food and snack, fresh produce, pharmaceutical and many other high-speed, flexible packaging applications.

“We are excited about the release of NetFlex”, said Jose Morlin, Sales & Marketing Director IIMAK Europe. “It compliments our range of in-line thermal transfer ribbons and sets itself apart with remarkable print quality and clarity.  We will be featuring this new ink along with other new developments such as Direct Thermal Films and SP990 UltraResin at LabelExpo in Brussels”.
