June 17, 2008 - IIMAK has acquired the thermal transfer ribbon business of Keymax International, a division of Kores Nordic Ltd. The acquisition includes product formulations and inventory. Customers throughout Europe will now be served by IIMAK's European subsidiary in Geel, Belgium.

IIMAK manufactures and distributes a full line of black and color thermal transfer ribbons for industrial bar coding, identification and labeling.
